George: I'm just catching up on the last 3 podcast and wow! What a great segment with your mom! My wife was born in Finland. Her parents and older sister were evacuated from their family farm during the Winter War. The last time we visited Finland we had a similar experience as your mom. We found the house of the family who took them in during the evacuation. This was the very house where my wife's parents and older sister lived after being forced to leave their farm. It turns out the family that lives there now are descendants of the same family who so graciously took care of my wife's family. So I completely understand how your mom feels when she gets a bit emotional about her history. It's quite an amazing feeling to meet somebody so closely connected to your family and your history. Big hugs to your mom. I loved her story. Greg

Dude, your mom is awesome. Please give her a big hug from all of us the next time you see your parents. As well, your dad needs his own segment. I've been trying to think of a good intro jingle that has the same cadence, but the best I can come up with is "Geo's dad reads NASDAQ stock quotes".
