A BUSY
WEEK
Wednesday
I first heard about you and your podcast from the Skeptic's Guide to the Universe. I downloaded a couple of your recent casts and decided that I wanted to start from the beginning. Thank you so far for hours of fun and lots of laught, but I had to post about episode #26 -- loved it. I laughed out loud over and over as you reminisced about this week. Thanks. Love the podcast, and I'm working up to real time.
hi,guy this site dofus.us it is about online game\'s web,we offer the news and important cheats,The main we sell dofus kamas,if u want to buy dofus kamas,u need buy dofus kamas from this site
loved the show, you had me cracking up like iced pond in April, as per usual. kinda liked listening to the inner sanctum of working musicians, proves that there is bullshit in EVERY job! the closest i\\\'ve come to that is being in the high school marching band over ten-fifteen years ago
(cymbals and pit percussion aka NO MUSICAL TALENT WHATSOEVER...could barely read music). every weekend from sept to nov. we were bussing out to every podunk town hosting a Tournement of Bands competition, some times two or three in as many days, plus the school football games friday nights and even a parade during the holiday season...feh
but i digress...the fact is, you sir have quite the life and i\\\'m a slice-of-life junkie, keep it coming :)
and hey...you should come to philcon this winter! http://www.philcon.org
Geo,
Never being in a band (well, since the middle school stage band), I really enjoy and appreciate your behind the scenes rants and raves. Definitely interesting insight.
Thanks.
I just listened to the opening of episode #28 and remembered I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed episode #27. At one time I contemplated becoming a sound engineer. After hearing this show I am happy to not have gone down that road.
I found the departure of this show from your \\\"normal\\\" format to be refreshing. I enjoyed the story of Musikfest. I was entertained and enlightened by it with the glimpse into the life of a musician/performer/showman. I now wonder what the recording process is like compared to live performances. I hope you will share more of your experiences with your listeners in the future.
Please don\\\'t let the lack of comments dampen your spirits with podcasting. My bed buddy\\\'s podcast has only 4-5 comments per show average but her incentive is to share her stories to anyone who cares to listen. But she does a happy dance whenever she gets one.
I just realized I had the wrong show numbers in my comment. I had just listened to the opening of #27 and how much I enjoyed #26. So a comment for you on my mistake. How dumb is that?
Thanks NNP!
No sweat... I really don\\\'t mind the low number of comments. Honestly! I was just reacting to something someone said about someone ELSE\\\'S podcast, and how they assumed that QUALITY was proportional to the NUMBER of comments. Just me be a silly goose.
Honk.
Thanks for the comments, and keep on listening!
Geo
OMG....stupid work computer crashed your show.
AHHHHH, fuck me finish at home.
Stupid work computer.
mwwwaaaaaaaaaaa
I meant to ask...where did the music you played behind each segment come from? Loved it!
Marty-
All of the music behind everything are instrumentals or instrumnentalized mixes of my tunes.
In order:
Incompetent [sic]
Monkey In The Middle [sic]
Hai Yooki To Ya [unreleased]
Minutiae (Sheer Brick Am) [Minutiae]
Stricken With Consumption... [Minutiae]
Stigmata [Minutiae]
Sic [sic]
They\\\'r all available on CDBABY and iTunes in case you\\\'re interested...
Thanks-
Geo
I like to keep everyone guessing... especially ME.
Thanks sir!
Geo
Great show! Having played in several bands I can sympathize with the good soundman/bad soundman comparison. Your description of both was very universal. A very unique show. Way to go!
Marty
Holy hell....you saw the mutha fucking Police?!?!?!
Dude they are coming here in November.
methinks I should clearly go.
Sounds like a rewarding and tiring four days Geo. Glad to hear your gigs went off well!
Thanks Brian.
It was fun trying to recount it all...
Thanks for listening.
Geo
Love your show. Seriously. I never know what I\\\'m gonna get when I listen, but it\\\'s always entertaining. Loved the \\\'A Busy Week\\\'. Thanks for the recap!
