Geo! Vibraphone!
Sometime around last year at Dragon*Con (2010, that is), I started listening to your podcast from the beginning. I JUST listened to this episode and am now caught up! Yay! The only problem now is that I have to wait a week to hear the next podcast. What am I going to do with my empty, boring hours that I used to fill with...well, you? :)
That sounded much less creepy in my head.
The Ms. Information animated video is generally referred to as "kinetic typography." Another excellent example is the Shopvac video for Jonathan Coulton: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4sOfO8Ei1g
Just thought you'd like to know. :)
"We don't have the sense of loss people had back then, when, say, 2 out of 5 children died before adulthood."
Don't worry, Jenny McCarthy and Andrew Wakefield are working on that.
