The Ask George segment was brilliant. Perfectly explained. I think this kind of stuff gets to a lot of people, and I'm sure many others feel the same way. Thanks for explaining it so clearly and inspirationally at the same time. It was brilliant.

Ask George was *fantastic*. It really was very well put, clearly explained, and with a certainty and passion which made it cross over into the realms of inspirational. The rest of the podcast was great of course, but this part really stood out as both brilliant and beautiful. I hope it reaches a lot of people, because I feel that there must be quite a few out there who have similar worries to Andrew.

When did I enjoy the opening act more than the closer? When Little Feat opened up for Joe Cocker. It was around 1973 at what was The Academy Of Music, (I don't know what it's called these days). Little Feat played just about the finest rock and roll I have ever heard. Joe Cocker drank one beer for every song he sang. Gone were the spastic movements he was famous for; he just stood motionless in front of the microphone, singing increasingly flat. Eventually he threw up and passed out. I remember wanting to yell, "MORE, MORE", but instead we just left in silence. At least I got to see Lowell George.

Geo

You’re crazy. You were proud of a true measure of health and thought it would be nice if someone else knew. There are thousands of people that want approval for a superficial view of health (bodybuilders, anorexics) but you wanted something that truly wasn’t skin deep.
Good for you! It take effort to get yourself the level of health you are at the moment and even if you only did if for health its right and proper that you are proud of your achievement and want people to know! Post it on facebook, twitter and in the cover book of your next album. There are so many other personal achievements that deserver less publicity.
