Sorry to be so pedantic, Geo, but it's not the first time I've heard you pronounce a Portuguese word with nh as man-ha, with h as in English. In reality, this combination represents a sound similar to ñ in Spanish or gn in Italian (as in lasagna).

I just say that because someone that heard you say manhã that way might simply not recognize the word. Using a sound like Spanish ñ will make it understandable.

(In most parts of Brazil the pronunciation is slightly different, but that's diving to deep in details.)
