Nice show. I\\\'m glad that me and Geo are on the same page about how to pay that woman. Although he was a little nicer, wanting to use nickles... Weird Al did a good song on his newest album about the stupid lawsuit thing. It\\\'s called \\\"I\\\'ll Sue Ya\\\" on the Straight Outta Lynwood Cd. worth a listen. Anyway, glad to hear that things worked out.

Under Pressure: great cover! Doing Freddie Mercury and David Bowie simultaneously with just an acoustic guitar takes some tackle in the sackle, methinks. Some spunk in the junk. Anyway, I liked it. Beowulf: once I got over the \\\"this is the longest video game cut-scene ever\\\" feeling I really enjoyed it. I wonder how it\\\'s sitting with you after some time, though. The more I think about it, the less satisfied I am with the script, the re-framing of Grendel\\\'s mother as a blighter of loins and the whole \\\"sins of the fathers\\\" theme. I can\\\'t quite buy the idea that the confident, proud Beowulf would exchange his virility and dignity for the promise of glamor, which in the context used in the movie is all about putting up a false front or bewitching people to see something other than what is. A king in Beowulf\\\'s world doesn\\\'t need glamor; he needs glory. And Beowulf has it to spare without outside assistance. I didn\\\'t think of any of this in the theater, though. Hm. \\\"Spunk in the junk.\\\" I don\\\'t know about that. Normally junk is kept in the trunk. If spunk got in the junk...
