Ah, in regards to that ad making it all the way "without anyone noticing what's wrong"... perhaps that was the case. But one can't help but wonder about the alternative of "oh, they noticed, and giggled all the way, fully intenting to pull it as soon as people notice and generate some buzz". Generating tons of publicity and then turning it into positive publicity? An amazing coup when what you're promoting is as boring as a mop. Just in case that's how things went down, I fully intend to forget every identifying detail about this story I can as soon as I can.
My favourite version of the "colour not found in nature" line was in the comic strip Cul de Sac, where young Alice explains that her mother drives a mini-van that's painted "a colour so neutral it is not found in nature".
I just realized that every time the show intro plays and it gets to the part where it says, "And now for the host of the Geologic Podcast..." and pauses with horns, drums, and growing tension, that I _always_ sing along in a Mogwai voice, "ME!"
Am I the only person that does this? I don't normally make a habit of singing along with the show. :-P
One song I always remember to be **better** than it actually is, and that's "Friday." I always think "It couldn't have been that bad, right?" Then go seek it out and am floored by how bad Rebecca Black's vocal actually is.
Misspelled and mispronounced...I may cry.
"Tereas" is still my favorite misspelling/mispronunciation though. You'll have to do better!
